CAD Drafter

Duties Include:

  • Design components, systems, and equipment (mechanical or electrical) using 2D/3D modeling CAD software
  • Create drawings of parts and assemblies
  • With guidance, select hardware and other standard components for new designs.
  • Assign tolerance of specific parts per prescribed standards
  • Participate in design review as necessary
  • Generate control panel layout drawings for existing and new projects
  • Work closely with team of engineers, sales engineers and control panel builders
  • Perform routine to moderately complex drafting
  • Produce accurate drawings in accordance with customer specs, industry standards and /or established practices and procedures

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Associates degree in Mechanical Design (CAD/Pro-E) or 2 years of 2D/3D solid modeling experience.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • 3+ Years experience in UL Motor Control Panel Shop is a plus
  • Ability to read electrical schematics is a plus
  • Strong technical proficiency and creative skills
  • Able to meet challenging deadlines while producing a quality product
  • Strong desire to represent the best interests of the company at all times
  • Strong inter-office communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Electrical Engineer Intern

We offer a three-month paid internship program in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Design for individuals seeking careers in electrical engineering and/or pursuing electrical degrees. This is a part-time internship with flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

Electrical Technician

We are seeking experienced electrical technicians who understand electrical schematics and electrical control panels. This is a full-time position with long-term opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Experience working on electrical control panels
  • Experience reading schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform QC on electrical control panels
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical control panels

Electrical Engineer

We are seeking experienced electrical/programming engineers. This is a full-time position with long-term opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of schematics and electrical control panels
  • Experience with AutoCAD and similar programs
  • Ability to perform QC and testing on electrical control panels
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical control panels
  • Ability to turn projects around and meet deadlines
  • Programming experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience

Assembler

We are seeking experienced electrical control panel assembly technicians who have the ability to read electrical schematics and wire electrical control panel or sub-assemblies. This is a full-time position with long-term opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Experience building electrical control panels
  • Experience reading schematics
  • Experience with drills, hole punching, torque tools, drilling, tapping, etc.
  • Must be able to use basic electrical hand tools (cutting, crimping, and stripping)
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs
  • Ability to stand or sit for long durations
  • Ability to work on repetitive and non-repetitive tasks

Electrical Control Panel Builder / Trainee

We are seeking new and experienced electrical control panel builders. This is a full-time position with on-the-job training and long-term opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Must be able to work a 40-hour week from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to use basic electrical hand tools (cutting, crimping, and stripping)

Custom Electrical Control Panel Builder

We are seeking new and experienced electrical control panel builders. This is a full-time position with on-the-job training and long-term opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a UL certified motor control panel shop
  • Control panel wiring and startup experience
  • Associate’s degree or greater in Electrical Engineering is a plus
  • Must be able to use basic electrical hand tools (cutting, crimping, and stripping)
  • Able to read schematics
  • Experience with wire-to-wire processing (point-to-point)
  • Knowledge of electrical components (PLCs, variable frequency drives, etc.) and industry vendors
  • Knowledge of UL 508A and UL 698A standards is a must
